How to transform a live international event into a successful 100% online model.

Challenge
Before the pandemic began, the GWR - Gastro World Review was an international gastroenterology congress held in a different location each year.
In 2020, it was expected to take place in Chicago; however, with the restrictions and new rules imposing a ban on in-person events, EMS sought Solo to find a solution and keep gastro specialists updated.
Solution
For the first time in the history of Gastroenterology, we held a 100% online congress, bringing together the most renowned speakers in the world. We were responsible for the conception of the concept, the development of the communication planning, and the creation of all the pieces and videos for the event.
Our Big Idea was to develop a digital platform with three days of classes that could be attended with an initial registration using the CRM. The classes were recorded by the speakers and later edited, with recordings from Brazilian moderators, and subtitled. We impacted the audience through social media and an exclusive mailing list of specialist doctors provided by EMS.
